Storage and Conservation Tatami Mats Martial Arts

For proper and long-lasting storage of the Tatami, we recommend following the following storage tips, whether it is an interlocking area, traditional or folding Tatami.

Consult the following pages for DISASSEMBLY and CLEANING, then proceed with storage with the following methods and precautions:

• withdraw the tatami mats, stacking the modules one on top of the other,
• avoid storage heights greater than 2 meters,
• Don’t leave the products exposed to direct sunlight, this causes deformation,
• never withdraw the tatamis if they are wet; wait until they are dry, or proceed to dry them carefully with a cloth.
